Dalton Sharps Bean Life is an absolute delight; its funny, clever and quite exquisitely drawn. In fact, the artwork is almost overwhelming in its technical brilliance. sharp's line is the definition of the word fluid; it's swirls & loops perfectly capturing the grace of the human figure as his characters dance, fight, walk & stroll over the page. It also holds beautiful solid blacks and captures superbly exaggerated facial expressions sets it all off against some gorgeous backgrounds.
If Bob (Roobarb & Custard) Godfrey and Hunt (Firkin the Cat) Emerson wrote a strip for Jeff (Bone) Smith to draw and Jonathan (Aunt Connie) Edwards helped out on the design & inks, then you'll have an idea of how mobile & spirited this comic is.
